My Look: Date Night

  Last night my husband and I celebrated (belatedly) our 7th Anniversary. Our anniversary was actually on the 21st. We had a lot of fun. We had a great dinner at Mancy's Italian restaurant, then we checked out the new casino here in Toledo. It was SO cool. The theme is old Hollywood (right up my alley!) I had a great night, it's nice to spend time together without all the little ones sometimes.

My Look: Curly Girly

    Hi loves! How's things? I'm doing my Friday night usual: watching the Travel Channel. The Dead Files is on now, which I like. But really I watch for Ghost Adventures. Oh that Zak... my dream boyfriend. He is too yummy, lol! Even my husband knows, Friday night is Zak night, so leave me alone HAHA ;)

    Today did not entail too much adventure. My husband is on 3rd shift this week, so it's been a drag around here. Trying to find things for 4 kids to do so their dad can sleep all day, is actually very hard. It's defiantly wearing me down, dealing with all the fighting and bickering all on my own. 

Enough of all that, that's not what you stopped by for anyway ;) On to today's look!

DIY - Nail Polish Rack

    On my last post I mentioned a project that I had done. Well ladies and gents, I built my own nail polish rack to hang on the wall. All the clear, acrylic ones (like at the salon) are so expensive. The cheapest I see on Amazon is $33, add shipping to that and you are looking at almost $40. 

    I saw the idea for this on Nicole Guerriero's youtube channel. She is awesome, and so super beautiful. If you haven't checked her out yet, her youtube name is nguerriero19. I will link her video at the bottom of this post so you can see how it's done. 

My Look: Feeling Fabulous

Hi loves! How was your day? Other than being extremely HOT all day, mine was pretty darn good. I worked on (and completed) a little project today. Will blog more about that at a later time. =) 

I gotta tell ya, I seriously felt like a hot mamma today! These pictures do me NO justice, I can't get color representation right. I looked gooood today! ;) I really felt like being a bronze glamazon today, and that's exactly how I felt all day. I love days when you feel super good about yourself, they are the best!

5 Minute Face

    I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day yesterday, and spent some quality time with the special daddy's in their lives. =) I hung around the house, and the boys and hubby worked out in the barn on their go-kart project. They've all been having a blast tearing it down and repainting it. I went for a quick, simple look yesterday as it was really hot. I didn't much feel like sitting in front of the mirror for ages working on makeup, when I was just going to be at home. This is what I came up with. Enjoy!

My Look: Back In Black

Back in a black shirt, that is. Uh, feels like forever since I've done a look post. I'd like to say I have some great adventurous story of where I've been, but I don't. I've just been reading, A LOT. I've read all the Hunger Games books, and now I'm on the last installment in the Fifty Shades of Grey books. I'm a reader, what can I say? =)

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

This is a tag that's been going around on YouTube for a while now. I thought I'd do it as a blog post instead =)

GREED

What is your most inexpensive beauty item? Your most expensive?

My least expensive would have to be my Wet n Wild lipsticks. I got them at sale at Rite Aid for 69 cents. My most expensive would be my Urban Decay 15th Anniversary palette, which was $55. However, that is technically 15 items, so single item would have to be my MAC lip liner in Saunter which was $19. (Don't judge me! lol)

WRATH

What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

I definatly have a love/hate relationship with eyeliners. I love eyeliners, and love to wear them. However I hate it at the same time because I have such hooded eyelids, that that's all you see when I wear it. The hardest product for me to get has been nothing so far. I do however want theBalm Nude'Tude palette REALLY bad. I have been trying to win it on Twitter and Facebook with no luck. They don't sell it in store anymore, so I guess eventually I will have to break down and order it online. 

GLUTTONY

What are your most delicious beauty products?

This question confuses me, considering I don't eat my makeup lol. I would have to say my most delicious product would be my NYX Mega Shine lipglosses. They smell amazeballs!

PRIDE

What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

I have 2. One would be foundation. The other would be mascara. I don't leave the house without either! 

LUST

What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

A nice smile, a sense of humor, nice eyes (my husbands are gorgeous!) and a strong set of shoulders. 

ENVY

What items would you most like to receive as a gift? 

Eyeshadow palettes and perfume. I never buy perfume for myself.

Smashbox BB Cream - Mini Review

    As I mentioned about a week ago, I stopped in at Sephora to get a couple samples of products I've been wanting to try. One of them was the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream. If you are unaware what 'BB Cream" means, it stands for Blemish Balm Cream. This BB Cream has a SPF 35 in it (awesome, considering summer is upon us!) According to Sephora:
