I always, ALWAYS hated having my birthday in November. Face it, it's cold, snowy, and just yuck. I wanted a summer birthday my whole life. But now that I've gotten into my love of makeup and I can appreciate where my birthday lies. As you all know, every major makeup brand is coming out with all their totally amazing holiday palettes and sets, RIGHT NOW. Right before my birthday! Now I look forward to my birthday because there are so many wonderful things for me to choose from. That makes me sounds 12 years old, and greedy, but I don't care. I love makeup, pretty things, and presents. What girl doesn't?
Instead of doing a "My Thoughts Of Fall Launches" post this year, I thought I would turn it in to a birthday list, with only things I actually really love. I could go on and on with multiple posts if I tried to cover everything, and that's just not feasible.
I will say that NOTHING from Too Faced turns my crank this year. There are way too many repromoted shades in their palettes for my tastes. I don't own much from Too Faced, but with any one of the palettes, I'd end up with multiple dupes.
Lastly, I am going to add something to the end of this post that I already purchased, because it defiantly deserves a spot on this list of Most Amazing Holiday Palettes. I will also add something that is not a Fall Launch, but also defiantly deserves to be on this list.
So what's on my list?? Keep reading to find out!
1. Tarte Fantastic Foursome 4 Piece blush set - $35
This one I know for SURE I will end up buying myself very very soon. I am most excited about this set. This comes with 4 all new blushes in half size pots. One Tarte blush cost $24, making these $12 each. Basically you are saving almost $15 on this set. The blushes included are: Angelic (champagne highlight), Stellar (shimmering nude), Fantastic (soft fuchsia) and Magic (true pink coral). Absolutely stunning blushes!
2. Lorac Eye Candy Full Face Collection - $59
This kit is so, so cute! It comes in a box that looks like a box of chocolate, and when you open it up each quad looks like a bar of chocolate. Adorable! This set comes with one cream liner quad, one lip color quad and 4 eyeshadow quads. Quad shade themes are: Oh La La Vanilla (nudes), Caramel Love Affair (golds), Tantalizing Cocoa (bronzes), and Blackberry Truffle Seduction (smokey eye).
3. Sephora Favorites Litz and Glam Party Sampler - $45
This kit is so awesome! It includes: Stila duo shimmer powder in Kitten, Laura Mercier eyeshadow in Black Karat, bare minerals shadow in Good Fortune, SOPI nail polish in Looks Like Rain Dear, Josie Maran Argan mascara, NARS Body Glow, Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre in Gold, Bare Essentials lipgloss in Trail Blazer, and a Stila smudge stick in Starfish.
4. Sephora Favorites In the Glow Set - $45
Another great Sephora Favorites kit this year. They have a lot of good ones this time around, and I'm loving it. It's a great way to try stuff from all different brands for a fraction of the cost of buying individually. This kit is all about the face: bronzing, blushing, highlighting. It includes 3 of each. In this set is: Benefit High Beam, Too Faced Chocolate Soliel, Tarte cheek stain in Flush, Stila Convertible Color in Peony, Tarte Amazonian blush in Splendor, Lorac Perfectly Lit in Spotlight, bareminerals All Over Face Color in Pure Radiance, Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Golden Mosaic, and NARS Laguna bronzer.
5. Lorac Pro Palette - $42
This is not a new Fall Launch release, but it is a newer product. I keep talking myself out of this palette, but I keep hearing SO MANY good reviews about it. This palette consists of 8 matte shades, and 8 shimmer shades. This is a great neutral palette, and everyone says the texture is like butter. Sounds like a winner to me!
6. Urban Decay Vice Palette - $59
You know I already own this palette, and you can see all about it here. I had to include this on this list because anyone getting Christmas ideas needs to know about this palette. It. Is. So. Good.
None of the above photos are my own, they are from Sephora.com
