Swatchfest: Tarte Fantastic Foursome Blush Set

Hi my loves!

I'm back with another swatch post that I am SUPER excited about!

If you recall my last post about high-end fall launch products I was interested in, I mentioned I'd be picking this set up in the near future. I had some free time on Friday (thanks Mom!), so I headed off to Sephora before hitting the gym.

Product descriptions will follow each picture. Each swatch is a heavy swipe on the left, blended out on the right.

I truly love this blush set, it did not disappoint me! If this is in your budget, I recommend picking it up. Remember that a single Tarte blush is $25, and all 4 of these are $35. Steal!!

Keep reading for pictures!

Angelic is a shimmery champagne color. I don't consider this a 'blush', this is a highlighter in my book. I don't think anyone will disagree with me on that one ;-) It's a beautiful subtle highlight shade, great for fair skin.

Fantastic is a soft fuchsia pink. This is a very cool toned blush, which can tend to look like poo on my skin tone. However this shade blends out to be oh-so-pretty on the cheek. I think this would look great on fair skinned ladies, and ladies with deeper complexions also.

Magic is a highly pigmented coral pink. This baby packs a punch! I really think this is a summer blush, so I find it odd in a Fall collection. However, with a light hand, she is a beauty! Another one I think looks good on all skin tones.

Stellar is a shimmery nude color. This is NOT a dupe to the other Tarte blush called Buff. I swatched Stellar, Exposed and Buff side by side in store. All 3 are visibly different in color and tone. Exposed is matte first of all, and it's more of a rosy color. Buff has more of a pink undertone to it. Stellar is just a neutral nude color. It is not bronzer-esque at all, and looks gorgeous on the cheeks. I do think this may be too light for women with darker skin tones.

So there you have it my friends.... my 4 brand new little loves. They are so cute, aren't they? ;-)
What do you think of this set? Is it up your alley?
